Hassanali Mehran حسنعلی مهران

Hassanali Mehran served as governor of the Central Bank of Iran from 1975 until 1978. A career economist with the International Monetary Fund (IMF) in Washington, Mehran has had over thirty years of experience working with central banks in Africa, Asia, Europe, the Caribbean and the Middle East. In 1986 and in 2007-2008 he served as president of the Central Bank of Aruba. Presently, he and his wife live in Bethesda, Maryland.
