Shadab Vajdi is a Persian language poet who presently lives in London. She is the author of seven collections of poetry in Persian. Her poems have been translated and published in English, French, German, Swedish and Czech.
She is also a linguist, journalist and translator. She has taught Persian literature at the universities of London and Tehran. For fifteen years she worked as a producer and broadcaster at the BBC. She has also translated Heng’s Return to China and Harrison’s Inside the Third World into Persian.
